RIG01 (AC in and DC output via a closed-loop electronics) : A high-performance rate gyro with built-in feedback control This is a high-performance rate sensor with a built-in feedback control of DC output. The gyro is designed for operation in extreme environment for shock, temperature, and vibration. High precision ball bearings are used to withstand high g force and long life, and silicon-fluid provides neutral gimbal buoyancy and damping. Also, a variable orifice bellow is used for damping compensation through a wide range of temperature variation. This gyro has been designed for anti-aircraft gun sight system and other military applications.
